Adlib Theatre Company
The Company is at full complement now and is rehearsing for Disco Inferno to be performed on Sunday 4th March 2012 at The Lichfield Garrick Theatre.
Adlib is a 2-hour production & workshop session whose main focus is rehearsing and presenting complete musicals and variety style Cabarets, whilst maintaining a socially integrated group. Members will audition for parts and to join, each student will be required to sing, dance and perform a short dramatic piece or poem to the panel of directors. It is aimed at the 14 – 18 age group.
This company started in September 2007 and their musical projects to date are:
- Back to the 80's
- A fantastic tribute to the music and styles of the 1980's written around the hits of the day.
- Encore
- A Night in the West End featuring music from Mamma Mia, Billy Elliot, Chicago, and Hairspray
- A Chorus Line
- The famous 1970's show about auditioning for the chorus of a Broadway show. Performed at the Garrick Theatre Lichfield
- Fame
