Adlib Theatre Company

Adlib is a 2-hour production & workshop session whose main focus is developing advanced techniques, rehearsing and presenting a large scle musical each year and an annual variety show, whilst maintaining a socially integrated group. Members will audition for parts and to join the group, each student will be required to sing, dance and perform a short dramatic piece or poem to the panel of directors. It is aimed at the 16 – 18 age group.

Back to the 80's

A fantastic tribute to the music and styles of the 1980's written around the hits of the day.

A Night in the West End featuring music from Mamma Mia, Billy Elliot, Chicago, and Hairspray

A  Chorus Line

The famous 1970's show about auditioning for the chorus of a Broadway show. Performed at the Garrick Theatre Lichfield

Fame

Set in the New York High School of Performing Arts. Performed at the Garrick Theatre Lichfield

Disco Inferno

A Faustian tale set in the heart of the Disco Era. Performed at the Garrick Theatre Lichfield

Copacabana

Based on the hit song,, this love story took the audience from new York to Cuba with exciting songs and dances. Performed at the Garrick Theatre Lichfield

Footloose

Based on the hit song, featuring a variety of 80's hits and a heartfelt storyline. Performed at the Garrick Theatre Lichfield

Guys and Dolls

The classic  gangster musical with a selection of evergreen hit songs. Performed at the Garrick Theatre Lichfield

Thoroughly Modern Millie

Set in the height of the 1920's Jazz Age, a perfectly constructed evening of madcap merriment. Performed at the Garrick Theatre Lichfield

A  Chorus Line

A return to the famous 1970's show about auditioning for the chorus of a Broadway show. Performed at the Landau Forte Auditorium Tamworth

West Side Story

The Iconic dance show based on the Romeo and Juliet story set in New York - performed at the Landau Forte Auditorium Amington Tamworth

Adlib also performs a summer show every year based on current musical trends with comedy sketches and dramatic interpretations, lyrical dances and hip hop styles all presented in a casual cabaret style!
